It’s been a month since I last posted. I’ve been busy working on some other sites. So today I have a special video for a close up card magician called Lennart Green. This performance comes the TED Talks series. For those who don’t know TED is an annual event where a collection of the greatest thinkers of our day come together and give lectures of about 10 to 15 minutes on the topic of their choice. It’s quite in depth stuff at times so to give a little relaxation between talkers, they also have some magic. That is what Lennart Green is doing here.

This has always been my favourite of favourite magic tricks. It’s also one of mankind’s favourites. This trick is old. It is so old that the Pharaohs of Egypt watched this trick. They have found drawings of magicians performing the cups and balls on the walls of tombs in the ancient river kingdom.

This was one of my favourite tricks as a kid. I was amazed by the complete impossibility of what I saw. How can three ropes of different length stretch to become the same length before my very eyes.
