The Equal/Unequal Rope Trick

This was one of my favourite tricks as a kid. I was amazed by the complete impossibility of what I saw. How can three ropes of different length stretch to become the same length before my very eyes. I couldn’t work it out. Thirty years later it still looks as improbably impossible as it did when I was a kid. Check out my uncle, Johnie Gentle, performing the great Equal/Unequal Rope Trick.
